Since yesterday I have up and down tooth pain on left side of my mouth which suddenly started. Can you suggest some temporary medication until I consult a dentist?

The unfortunate part about dental infections is that medications are only going to provide temporary relief and not cure the problem. You can take painkillers like ketorol DT but it would be highly recommended that you go for the objective treatment of the problem so that your symptoms are alleviated faster and more permanently.
