Chronic Periodontitis- more commonly know as pyorrhea, is a condition when a tooth looses all the bone support resulting in spontaneous exfoliating(fall). More specifically this disease occurs in middle age group(45-60 yrs) and may/may not be associated with other medical problems. Replacing such a tooth has to be evaluated carefully as the adjoining teeth could also be affected by the disease process. But to put it on record we can definitely replace the missing tooth/teeth. There are various options in replacing missing teeth(fixed/removable) etc.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist as soon as possible.
Health Tips
Avoid spitting as this could lead to more bleeding, if the tooth has exfoliated recently.
