Too much of yawning and hiccups

Sleeping in closed room with no proper ventilation,night time for an hour my father is having too much of yawning for an hour. And he has problem of hiccups while having curd rice.His age is 60yrs.he is having gastric and BP problem as well.Thanks in advance.
