Too much hair fall
I have been at hone since last 2.5 mnths post a compression fracture to my spine. First 1.5 mnths, i was on complete bed rest. This caused a lot of hairfall. So i consulted an ayuevedic doctor. He gave me hair oil to be applied for 30 min and washed off, thrice a week. He gave me an 'arishtam' to drink. The hairfall infact got more whenever i used to apply the oil. On further consultation he said its normal and this will stop in 2-3 mnths. He examined me and then gave me iron capsules and narasimha rasayana. My hair has reduced to one-third now. I still have hairfall but lil reduced. I am 39 yrs old. He assured tht my hair will grow back. Is all this normal in ayurveda to have excess hairfall in beginning and then stabilising. Will i get my hair growth back?
