Tonsil hole after chikungunya fever
I had a chikungunya fever last january.... after rashes and joint pain subsided i noticed a white patch sore in my tonsil. Before its just one then it became worse and for months i have it and it already has a hole...... i visited my ENT last week and gave me a presciption gargle which is difflum-c. But i think its not working cause im using it for a week now. Should o resort to antibiotics now loke azythromicin?

Normally tonsil contains a hole known as crypta magna. In some individuals it may be prominent and also you may find whitish that debris inside it then it's called as keratosis pharyngeus. If you don't have any symptoms such as throat pain, difficulty swallowing, bad breath no treatment is necessary
