She had sudden attack of vertigo two months back which i s gone after treatment but left with constant hissing sound in one of the ear i.e tinnitus which we have been told is not curable .Kindly advise and help.This sound is unbearable .Regards

Yes tinnitus has no clear cut treatment as of now. Get one MRI BRAIN to rule out any central pathology and if it is normal, she has to consult a good audiologist for tinnitus rehabilitation therapy. Tinnitus masking hearing aids are also available.
