Hi,
I have undergone the wisdom tooth extraction almost 4 months back but after the anaesthesia effect was gone after somedays i started feeling tingling sensation in my tongue on the side where the extraction was done, the dentist told me that that my nerve was very close and the tingling feeling and sensation will go on its own as the nerve healing takes time, and recommended me to take neurobion forte tablet,
Just wanted to understand is there any other medication or exercises i should be doing to help in the healing process as the tingling and burning sensation has not fully subsided till now.

Hello .
Sensory symptoms in the mouth are common after dental interventional procedures like dental extraction . They usually take a variable amount of time (weeks to months) depending on the degree of injury/ contact to the nerve that has taken place . Following up with your dentist about the same would be a good idea .
Next Steps
For alternative medicines for the tingling sensation reduction I will need more details about your physical and physiological status to be able to prescribe them . That would be most appropriate with a consult only
Health Tips
Do not consume nerve tingling reduction medications without a prescription .
