Time taken for hearing loss to revover
I had attended a Kirtan 2 weeks ago, and there were many loudspeakers. I was there for about 10-15mins. Since then, I have been suffering from some hearing loss and tinnitus. Went to a specialist, he said it was infection and gave some antibiotics and antihistamines. After a week, due to no improvement, I decided to go to another ENT specialist. He said it's ET Catarrh and some nerve damage and prescribed methylcobalamin injections (10 inj, alt days), some antihistamines, a steroid nasal spray. But he didn't mention approximately how long would it take to recover. After first injection itself, I felt some improvement in hearing and tinnitus. Would it get better in few weeks?

Good afternoon! Needs full history and examination! There are possibilities of sudden sensorineural hearing loss or ringing sensation due to URTI Kindly consult online or offline with Pure tone audiometry reports which might be helpful in commenting the prognosis! Take care
