Thyroid. TSH level is low
3 months back my TSH was 15.5 i started using thyroxin 150mcg. now my TSH is 0.01. my local doctor told me to stop using medicine your TSH is normal.. Is that a correct option or should I meet endocrinologist? Why my TSH level decreased very low?

Its not right to start medicines based on just a single one-time lab report as the levels keep changing based on the body requirements. Only when the ranges are abnormal constantly after 3-4 checkups, medication is advised for such metabolic problems. Gradually reduce and then stop the medication. Get your TSH checked in between. Most important, observe your body, if you feel everything is fine, no need to keep going for lab tests.
