  4. Thyroid treatment. Advice on the above.

Hi my son was 4 months and he is under the medication for hypothyrodism and I'm giving him thyronorm 12.5mcg.. His thyroid was became normal as T3- 195, T4- 10.2 and TSH range is 3.3..now is it okay to stop the medicine or to continue... My doctor said that the range is in border so it's safe to continue the tablet.... I need an advice on the above...

Please monitor TSH every 6 weeks and slowly reduce the dose under doctor supervision and Don’t be in impression that you have to continue lifelong, but Never stop or start without Pediatrician written prescription or contact me online
