Hi, I am Dr. Atul Kumar Nimawat MS ENT Your current TSH level of 5.8 suggests suboptimal control of hypothyroidism, despite being on Thyronorm 75 mcg. Generally, the goal is to keep TSH within the normal range (0.4–4.0 mIU/L) for most adults, and sometimes even lower (
Next Steps
Based on your rising TSH values, a slight dose adjustment may be required. Your endocrinologist might consider increasing your dose to Thyronorm 88 mcg or 100 mcg, depending on your age, weight, symptoms, and cardiac profile.
Health Tips
Do not change the dose on your own. Dose titration should be done under the guidance of your endocrinologist after reviewing your complete thyroid profile and clinical condition.
