Thyroid levels normal but symptoms exist
I have been taking 50mg thyroxin tablet everything was fine no symptoms levels were normal. After baby also I continued same dosage but now my levels are normal 3.5 but i have lots of hair fall, one day period and weight gain and all other hypothyroid symptoms. My doctor says i should continue with 50 mg only but i have symptoms. Should I reduce the dosage. Please help. Thanks in advance.

You should not stop your thyroxine medication if you have the symptoms or not. The medication has to be continued along with monthly monitoring of your thyroid profile and if your symptoms improve the dose can be tappered accordingly.
