Thyroid issues.
I am taking thyronox 75 since two years . then again I got check up. My tsh level was found 4. (Normal limit is 0-6). Then I started taking half tablet of thyronox 75(means 37.5). Now after three months I am again having tsh level to be 4. Should I stop taking thyroid pills. And second question is stress s major reason for thyroid diseases.

Thanks for your query You should also check your T3 and T4 levels. If all the TSH T3 and T4 levels are normal, you can stop the thyroxine and recheck your T3 T4 and TSH levels after 2 months. High or low cortisol – caused by any of the chronic stressors can cause hypoglycemica, hyperglycemia or both. Also blood sugar imbalances cause hypothyroid symptoms in a variety of ways. But adrenal stress also has more direct impacts on thyroid function.
