Thyroid issue in pregnancy
I am in first trimester in 6th week of preganancy.. My thyroid level in feb month was 8.14. For which I am taking thyronorm 125 mg tablet.. Is it safe to tablet this much high dosage in early pregnancy.. Will it have any adverse effect.. Pls advice..

ur tsh is high for pregnancy..and so definitely needs treatment with levothyroxine..

No thyroid needs to b in trimester specific range. It is absolutely safe to take thyroid tablet during pregnancy. Once u changed to new dose repeat thyroid test after 6 weeks and consult.
