  3. Thyroid gland. For operation is wrong?

Sister has no issue with Thyroid gland even the reports shown in the same. But doctor suggested to remove both glands and we were so scary at that moment and opted to remove and from last four years she is going for 131 Iodine Whole Body Scan and the reports are NORMAL. I have always have this mind, our decision of opting for operation is wrong? since that moment I can clearly see that she is gaining weight and looks like obese and she has must take thyroid tablets every day.
