Thyroid gland removal
I have went FNAC test and  i was diagnosed with follicular neoplasm, Bethesda category-4, i went to hospital doctor told me to go for surgery, doctor has suggested two suggestions, 1)  to remove total thyroid gland and take thyroid tablets life long    OR           2) remove half thyroid gland and test biopsy and decide about other half gland to remove or not? Doctor has told me decide, kindly suggest me which is better to remove total gland or remove half and check biopsy, am recently married and my age is 28 years. Attaching reports Kindly help me.

Half gland with regular follow-up scans. Full removal will also remove parathyroid glands and will have to be on calcium and other hormone replacement lifelong.
