Thyroglossal cyst
I have aThyroglossal Cyst from my childhood.Minor Surgery was done when I was 3 yrs old.It was so minor that I neednot admitted to the hospital.Now again problem is arised and the cyst is bigger.Iam going to complete 30 years of my age.I am female.

Hello, You will require a re-operation, and the cyst along with a small connecting tube (the thyroglossal tract) will have to be removed. This procedure is called Sistrunk's Operation, and it can be done as a daycare/one-two day admission procedure depending on the size of the cyst.
