This is for my mother (age 44). She has been diagnosed with thumb arthritis. I wanted to know:
1. Can it be healed permanently without any surgery?
2. Are there any ayurvedic solutions?
3. What are the non-ayurvedic solutions?
4. Approximately how much time will it take to heal completely, and can it come back?

Two types of artritis are there one is osteo artritis and other one is rheumatoid artritis. If you have developed any structural deformity it is difficult to come back to normal state. But pain and other symptoms can be cured by ayurvedic medicines along with panchakarma treatment.
