Thrombophlebitis
After a minor surgery which required IV infusion, it has been hurting along the site and short distance along the vein. Im to have it diagnosed medically of course, but a quick study on the internet suggested it to be thrombophlebitis, as is common inflammation. However there is no redness but a little swelling. How serious is the condition or does it need immediate attention. Only a little swelling and is sore.

If it's a thrombophlebitis just ice fomentation is enough twice or thrice a day. You can also apply thrombiphob ointment twice a day.
