Throat Infection

I am getting throat infection regularly every two months when ever there is a climate change. Some time it goes away with salt water gargling but some other times I need to take antibiotics for recovering. What is the prime reason for throat infection and how do we prevent it?

hi there are many causes for throat infection....for example 1-bacterial 2-viral 3-post nasal drip(cold or sinusitis) 4-smetimes small dust particles or insects may get embedded In nasopharynx and starts irritation its bettr to avoid the precipitating factors by wearing face mask and by doing salt water gargling when affected if its still not subsiding contact ur physician.
