Three flesh coloured raised spots

Asked for Female, 51 Years

Hello, About three weeks ago now, I found three flesh coloured raised spots at the back of my throat / tonsil area. I had my tonsils removed when I was around two years old and I am now fifty one. I have a huge health anxiety and have been to see many doctors about this including an ENT Doctor who said they are Benine Systs but she has referred me to have an MRI Scan just to reassure me which is on Friday but I just can’t wait until then. I haven’t even been able to sleep.What are they?

You seem to be having granular pharyngitis which usually occurs secondary to chronic irritation of throat such as reflux laryngopharyngitis, post nasal discharge etc. Usually they are simple benign inflamed lymphoid tissue which does not require any treatment treatment if asymptomatic
