Tested IGG positive with genital sores.
Hi I experienced first single genital ulcer last December and got tested for VDRL,HIV1&2 and P24 test and Herpes simplex 1&2 IGG IGM serum test...I got negative report for all except herpes IGM positive and IGG non reactive...ulcer lasted for roughly 4 weeks and disappeared with a small mark...now after 8 months I experienced four sores this time around the same area...I got tested for same round of tests all over again and this time tested for IGG positive with 2.62 units...I am really in lot of anxiety and stress...kindly recommend swift remedial action...pls help...thanks...

Don't worry, it is nothing very grave. You have herpes genitalis. It can give repeated episodes but it will not be as severe as the first one.
