My mother has a fall in the bathroom, consulted a doctor who recommend MRI. He says there is tear in supraspinatus muscle of the right shoulder. Suggested operation.
Wanted to know if recovery possible without operation.

if there is a complete traumatic tear with significant separation then it is advisable to undergo the surgery (presuming the age of the patient is 62 and is a dominant shoulder).
