Asked for Female, 30 Years

I have been advised for TB-PCR test and not sure how to collect menstrual bool sample is there no other test to detect this or it has to be done with menstrual blood only . if so how do i collect sample ?

Hello,Doctor might be suspecting tuberculosis in your genitals . TB PCR is a confirmatory test,but costly and rapid test. Normal venous blood can also be used for TB -PCR . Ask doctor once again.Blood culture for TB remains gold standard test.Chest x ray ,sputum examination is done in active TB case. Hysterscopic visualisation and sample collection can done.
