Target sonography
I am 35 years old and my wife 36 years. There are ten month passed our marriage. I am suffering by pseudarthrosis since childhood and neurofibromatosis since age of 13 yr. My wife is also suffering by depression. My wife is pregnant and her 7th month starting within 10 days. Everything is normal in routine checkup and normal USG. Assistant of USG lab suggested my wife for TARGET SCAN. What is target scan and what is uses of this. Is it helpful and what kind help. Please suggest.

It's known as anamoly or target scan it is preferably be done between 18 to 22 weeks of pregnancy.... It is done in order to detect fetal abnormalities that may compromise the quality of life, and gives the parents options for treatment or termination of the pregnancy in case anamoly found...I would suggest you to consult your obg specialist and discuss the issue they will guide you properly.
