I am having eye pain after I cleaned my eyes with tap water is tap water advisable for clearing eyes. Now i am having pain what can I do is there any infection?

Kindly consult with a picture of your eye .
How severe is the pain and are you feeling any itching sensation or burning sensation in the eyes beside pain.
Maybe there is something in water for which your eyes are allergic resulting into the pain and itching sensation
