Take rabies vacination
Hi, I was feeding a stray puppy for quite some time. Suddenly he got wounded and we submitted it to resq. He was there in resq for 2 weeks and suddenly before 3 days he started behaving abnormal and died in single day. Resq team analysed his brain and said he was having rabies so all person in contact with him sound get vaccination. My question is do I need to get vaccination? As dog never bite me and I heard rabbies virus comes 1 day before death. Thanks, Harshit

No current guidelines do not say anything about taking rabies vaccination in a patient who has no direct contamination ..i mean the animal saliva has not touched in open wound or scratch etc ...if nothing like that happened..then no need .
