Swollen foot for ten days
His foot is swollen and looks like one of the nerves is the cause of the swelling. We consulted a doctor who prescribed Edinase-D tablets 3 times a day for 10 days. It's the sixth day after taking the medicines but he finds no improvement. Can somebody recommend a what specialist should we see? An orthopedic or a neurologist? We are put up in Domlur.

U should consult with ortho surgen.. Once u consult with physiotherapy also. Physio trearment will help for pain management and swollen.. Thanks.. TC

Hello, swelling is not caused by nerve injury , it could be due to vascular pathology leading to edema formation , cellulitis, vasculitis can cause limb swelling , if he has broken bone with the history of injury then also edema forms , if there is local tenderness ,redness , you Better take him to surgeon .
