Swelling in legs.

My father is 58 years of age. He has high BP problems. He takes stamilovita for bp. He sometimes has swelling in his ankles. His physician asked him for a blood test. His serum creatinine level was 1.13 mg/dl. Is his creatinine normal. If yes, what can be possible reasons for swelling of legs.

The medicine which he is on itself can cause swelling in both feet. Serum creat level is normal, no long term functional abnormality with the Kidney.
