Swelling in eyes

Asked for Female, 24 Years

My father underwent TBAC surgery for his right eye on 8th November and he is taking pred forte for his eye. The drops were being put 6 times for 2 weeks and from today it has become 4 times for 2 weeks as the doctor prescribed. And today itself his right eye is a little swollen and there is watery substance or patchy thing on the white part of his eye. However, he doesn't experience any pain.. Is it something serious?

Hello, This seems like mild eyelid infection. Make sure he cleans his eyelids with boiled or sterile cotton swabs and continue medicines as advised. Get in touch with the operating surgeon for a better feedback.
