Suture remaining in wound
Dear Doctor, my name is Santhosh i met with an accident couple of week back and my artery of mouth is cut into two which has been stitched.Now those stitches are removed wound is clear now but when I saw a day back one suture is still remaining. I don't know whether it is adorable or not. Does it cost any problem in future or I will go by its own

Hello Santhosh , there are two type of sutures 1) resobable - which resorbs by itself need not be removed by doctors 2) non-resobable - has to be removed by doctors If u got resolbable sutures it can be left it will go by itself if it’s non resorb able you l have to visit your doctor and get it removed .
Health Tips
Keep the area clean . Don’t let food particles stick to the suture .
