Sustainability at high altitude
We are planning a family trip to sikkim, 4 elders are under medication for blood pressure including my dad who has a cardiovascular history. Would like a suggestion whether taking them to an altitude of 9000+ feet upto 15000 feet in the 3rd week of December for a night's stay is advisable.

With the history provided I do not recommend. Gradual acclimatisation should be done otherwise it will be difficult. Consult a local dr again.
