Do surgical mask really keep us healthy? My mom undergoing dialysis treatment for past three years. During dialysis others patients are coughing and sneezing and its gives discomfort to my mom. Does wearing surgical mask helps us breathe clean and filtered air??

Yes it helps reduce spread of infection as patients on dialysis are susceptible to respiratory infections, usually hospital acquired respiratory infections
