Superficial paradictomy
My mother is moderate COPD patient She has tumour on superficial lobe.can superficial paradictomy done under local anaesthesia?

COPD is not a contraindication for General Anaesthesia. The anaesthetist has to make certain adjustments in his/her plan to accomodate for this comirbidity. Local anaesthetic is also administered during Superficial Parotidectomy but it is best done under General Anaesthesia.
