Hello my name is Sayantan Deb.last year I complete my MS.my sister is upset since one weak.can't talk with nobody can't eat anything.her age is 21.last night she committed suicide by eating sleeping pill.i admitted her in the hospital and washed her stomach.now sense come but she has quite breathing problems.will I give her oxygen mask and sleeping injection?is it Ok?

Hi sayatan, very sad to hear about the incidence. Provide her oxygen mask. Nebulise if needed. There might be some psychological disturbances for this suicide attempt. Please give her continuous counseling support through professional help. It will help her in longer run , to come out of the depression.May she come out of the discomfort asap.
