For the random blood sugar test you can do anytime a day , specifically fasting blood sugar is not so important, u can consult your gynaecologist for the same , also maintaining a good sugar level is good for you and baby. So don't take stress , eat when u want , stay happy. See pregnancy is an metabolic emergency state where all your metabolism gets deranged which will get normal when u deliver your baby, so there is nothing to worry, just stay in touch with your gynecologist. All the best Dr. Rajiv

Please give information if you are already diagnosed with Diabetes of Pregnancy and under treatment and you are checking FBS for monitoring the treatment plan or are you checking FBS to keep watch on sugar level? Blood sugar after 8 hours of fasting is considered as Fasting Blood sugar. Water is allowed during this time. So you can check accordingly.
