Suffocation with severe head ache
My wife is suffering from this problem frequently. Suddenly, she starts feeling suffocation with severe head ache which lasts till 10-15 mins. We visited a doctor and she informed that it could be due anxiety issues. The frequency of such happenings has increased. Also should we visit general physician or some one related to neuro?

Sudden onset of suffocation with severe headache that is brief in duration and that is recurrent may be due to several reasons.It is better to visit Internal Medicine before jumping to a neurologist.
