Sudden increase in heart rate
I am 36 years, weight 95, height 5'10. NOT diabetic. My normal resting heart rate is between 60 to 65. Today, I had heavy bloating / gas. I also had 4 cups of black coffee (I generally don't have so much of black coffee). Since afternoon, I felt palpitations, and, my pulse rate was 100 to 105 for almost 1 hour. After that, I had less palpitations but the pulse was still between 95 to 100 for almost 3 hours. Pulse then gradually reduced to 70 by night. Is it related to my bloating / gas, or to Excess coffee I had that day, or related to heart?

Coffee is known to induce palpitations and increase heart rate. Try avoiding such heavy intake in future.
