Stye in eye of new born
She is 10 days old and today itself we saw red stye on her right lower eye lash.Is this dangerous? Also she had some secreation accumulation in her eyes due to which she is already on ciplox eye drops. What can i do to reduce the pain or control the situation?

A. Regarding stye:it is very difficult to comment without examining her.. Kindly share photos of his eye so that I may guide you better
B. Regarding discharge : this could be due to congenital nasolacrimal passage blockage. lacrimal sac massage is the treatment.
Antibiotic alone is useless.
Moreover... Tobramycin is the safest antibiotic for infants
