Stress to the brain increases bp
Blood pressure is usually normal 115/75 as I'm on meds but whenever I play even one game of chess or any other game that requires calculation or puts stress on brain my blood pressure seems to increase to 140/100 is it normal for hypertensive people to get a increase in such cases or it is something else

Yes the fluctuations in blood pressure is normal when you are under stress. That's the normal physiological mechanism.
