My sister's tmt was negative But still she captain experiencing chest pain on exertion.. doctor advised stress echo n it has came positive.. If tmt was negative than how can stress echo be positive? Is there no choice now apart angiogram? The doctor explained us that some part of heart muscle is not getting proper blood supply

Stress Echo is more sensitive that TMT so its possible to have negative TMT and positive stress echo. You have 2 alternatives to conventional angiogram. Either get a PET stress MPI done or CT coronary angiography done
