Strep/numbness?
Two weeks ago I felt slight discomfort when swallowing, noticed my left tonsil was very inflamed,no other symptoms of being sick at all,a week later I saw dr did a throat culture said it came back positive for strep and gave me amoxicillin 875 mg for 10 days I’m on day 5 and the swallowing does seem to be better but tonsil is still very inflamed and last 2 days I have been feeling a numbness in my cheek/ear on the same side. Should I be worried, I still feel normal other than these symptoms

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You need to continue same medications as suggested by doctor. Within few days you should be alright
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
