Stopping progesterone during 17th week
I am in my 17th week of pregnancy. I was taking progesterone 200mg from 7th week of pregnancy. This week my gyn asked me to stop the progesterone. Is it normal. Will it affect my baby.

No. It is intially given to sustain the pregnancy. It can be stopped once foetus becomes viable. Nothing to worry about. Take calcium and iron supplements regularly.

hi , first three months are more important . after that i think no need of progesterone . do u have any abortion history or medical condition then it need to review .
