Stomach warm but oral temperature 98.3
My kid had low grade fever(99.8) since last night.Doctor put her on Calapol 250 syrup and Azithromycin200 syrup.She had two doses till now of calapol and one dose of azithromycin.Her stomach and back feels warm but oral temperature is 98.3now.What to do?Can it be due to weather?

99.8 temperature but now recorded normal oral temperature after treatment. You should stop paracetamol and then record the temperature and it’s pattern with the same thermometer and same site over 24 to 48 hrs 6 hrly . Once antibiotics started without any tests can not be stopped in the middle for fear of resistance and antibiotic abuse .

It's a low grade temperature, could be due to weather. Continue medicines as prescribed.Give Calpol only if there is fever(98.3 is normal temp).If possible maintain a fever chart.

Irs too soon to comment. If fever is above 100f continue to give calpol. Let fever take its own course. If fever persists beyond 3rd day you need to investigate ur child with blood test and covid test

If temperature is less than 99 deg F , nothing to worry. Give plenty of liquids/ water to drink
