Since your baby is just 1 MONTH old, you need to just keep her on breast milk. Nothing else. Not even water. Consult a paediatrician. Because examining such patients is very necessary. My colleague clearly didnt see the age you mentioned. So please avoid whatever he said.
Include whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables in you and your child’s diet. Avoid dairy products ,offer high fiber containing diet .
It is important for children to keep themselves well hydrated. If a child does not drink adequate fluids, he/she is more likely to get constipated. Mild osmotic laxatives ,stimulant laxatives are helpful. Consult pediatric doctor
