Stitches opens after giving birth

Asked for Female, 40 Years

Hi I give birth to my youngest son 10 years ago . I had stitches then . Now after all these years I went to doctors because I had really bad infections. The doctors said my stitches are opened I have to resew them and have general anstatic. Please help is there any medicine to help . I don't want that . I live in iraq
