How long does the immunosuppression action of corticosteroids (dexamethasone) taken for two weeks last? Dexa Iv for 1st five days...then dexa tab 4mg BID for next five days and Dexa tab 4mg tab for next 5 days...(total 15 days)

This immunosuppression will be there as long as you take. They have wide range of side effects. Steroids are given in extremely necessary conditions or when the benefits outlay the side effects for eg in covid that too after persistently high fever for a week. Immunosuppression of steroids depends on n number of factors like age comorbidities  like diabetes HIV leukemia etc there the effect of immunosuppression is more and patients end in opportunistic infections
