Stammering
Hi doctor, i have observed stammering issue in my 3.5 year old son from last few months.. its usually on and off and not consistent. There are days when i feel that he is absolutely normal but sometimes its more. I consulted his pediatrician regarding the same and he said that my son will outgrow this problem so no need to worry. But then recently i decided to take a professional opinion about the same so the pediatrician suggested that we visit a child psychiatric. Now i do not understand that whether we should take him to the psychiatric or to a speech therapy specialist? Please suggest. Thanks!!

I would say a speech therapist is a better option. He is still too young, and as your paediatrician rightly pointed out, he will outgrow the problem
Next Steps
do not discuss this in front of your child. Don't ever make him feel there is something not right about him
Health Tips
This is a simple issue , but undue stress on this, may in fact lead to psychiatric problem. ur child may lose his confidence. so keep it simple. meet a speech therapist and  practice the exercises and tips advised by the therapists
