Spo2 level fluctuates

Asked for Male, 22 Years

Hi doctor when I check my spo2 it shows 99,98 for 10 to 15 seconds then it drops to 89 88 I have no symptoms nothing but why it drops to 88 levels from 98 levels my heart rate is 68 should I go for entire heart check up?

Hello, This could be due to faulty technique . If you are pressing it too hard then the level falls. If your saturation is 88% with proper technique then you need to visit a hospital to het your cardiopulmonary status evaluated in detail.
