Hi there..I can understand the concern for your health. Disc herniation can cause pain in the lower limbs. But not all disc herniation require surgically intervention. Sometimes oral medications and physiotherapy might be enough to treat it and spontaneous recovery can occur. But in severe cases surgery might be required so kindly consult a nearby neurosurgeon for further evaluation and treatment.
